Mission and Outreach

 

WE are involved with local mission with the Beach Homes, volunteering our time and support to this group of retirement residences, becoming friends to many who are older adults in need of a friend.

 

We deliver bags of groceries twice a month to needy families in the neighborhood around the church, mostly in Mesa Del Mar, directly behind the church. You can help by volunteering to help with this outreach, Bags are not too heavy and you can have someone assist you if you request. Spanish helps, but not necessary.

 

Our church also is part of TRELLIS a local consortium of churches who are banding together to address local community needs such as homelessness, local schools and crisis response.  Opportunity for volunteer service is available in a variety of ways in each of these mission areas.

 

WE have recently become involved with the Syria-Lebanon Partnership Network which is reaching out through personal relationships with churches in this crisis-ridden area of the world.  Beginning with prayer, we have begun to build relationships of prayer and encouragement to people in the line of fire as they work to bring their community and country back together again.
